Announcements

  • September 11

  • September 11 - sanctuary open

On Friday, September 11, St. Luke’s will be open from 6–8 p.m. for anyone who wishes to stop in for quiet prayer, reflection, and remembrance. You are welcome to come and go as you need—whether for a few minutes of silence or a longer time of reflection. At 7:30 pm, a litany of prayers will be said honoring the victims, first responders, and survivors of the attack. We pray that God’s peace will guide us as we remember.

  • Baptism Bryce Gallagher

With joyful hearts, we announce that Bryce John Gallagher, son of David and Angela Gallagher, will be baptized on Sunday, September 13. We invite the congregation to join in celebrating with his parents and grandparents, Tom and Gretchen Gallagher, as well as with the entire communion of saints, as we welcome Bryce into the Lord’s family.

  • Rally Sunday - Sept. 20

Join us as we kick off a new year on Rally Sunday, September 20. We’ll gather for a luncheon directly following worship in Centennial Hall, where chicken, beverages, and cookies will be provided. Covered dishes are welcomed to help round out the meal. Please sign up in the Café or the Main St. Narthex. We look forward to celebrating together and launching this year’s journey of faith, learning, and community.
