  • Risk Assessment Task Force

St. Luke’s has recently created a task force to conduct a risk assessment of the church campus and to prepare a comprehensive safety plan.  The task force will meet with Joe Beachem of the Saxonburg Police Department on Monday, December 18th at 7:00 in the Koinonia Café.   Anyone who is interested in finding ways to keep us safe, please come to the meeting on Monday.

  • Christmas Caroling

As the angels sang that first Christmas, Christians have long celebrated and borne witness through song to the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Words in song stir the spirit of the person who sings as well as the one who receives the music. Through song and gift giving, hearts will be touched on December 17th when St. Luke’s members visit over 20 special people, friends and family. Come be part of a very special way to offer Christmas comfort and joy. Lunch will be served at 12:00 after late service. We will carpool and visit from 1 to 4. If not having lunch, come at 12:45 for team assignments. Sign up in the Koinonia Café.

  • Job Opening

Looking for a team-oriented, Christian leader who is committed to God’s Word and enjoys discipling others to follow Jesus Christ to serve as the Director of Discipleship.  If you are a good communicator with a heart for family, youth, and teen ministry, the ability to build and nurture relationships, and can organize volunteers, please contact us.   27 hr. avg./wk., pd. vacation, flexible schedule, and opportunity to further education.  Send resume to:

  • NALC Disaster Relief for Hurricane

Flood buckets, cleaning supplies, bottled water, and many other emergency supplies were loaded Monday, August 28, 2017, for delivery to Texas for Hurricane Harvey relief but now donations are being collected for hurricane relief in Texas and Florida.

NALC and the HARP Mission volunteers are providing the manpower to help hundreds of these families. The HARP Mission serves southeast Ohio in non-disaster times, providing material goods, home repairs, and job training to low income families. When a disaster strikes, NALC volunteers are ready to ship emergency supplies from the national warehouse in Caldwell. These are items that are not easily available in impacted communities.

To support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, you may send donations to St. Luke’s Domestic Disaster Relief by dropping off a check or mailing a check made out to St. Luke’s with Disaster Relief in the memo, to the church office at PO Box 187, Saxonburg, PA 16056 and we will forward to the NALC Disaster Relief program.
