  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Gifts for Flood Victims

Recovery continues in Western North Carolina. As the holiday season approaches there is a need to help the children affected by Helene to have as nice a Christmas as possible. In order to help with this need our mission district council has decided to hold a toy drive.   In support St. Luke’s will be collecting toys and stocking stuffers from now until December 8.  Items SHOULD NOT BE WRAPPED!

Donations of gift-wrapping paper would also be appreciated along with tape so the parents can wrap their children's present.

Please place all donations in the box marked NALC Toy Drive in the narthex.

  • Advent Prayer Night

Advent is a season when we slow down and look forward to the coming of Jesus at Christmas.  You are invited to stop by the Church on Wednesday nights, starting December 4, for quiet prayer and reflection.  The sanctuary will be open between 6:00 - 7:30 pm providing a space to slow down and prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus that has occurred, and in anticipation of His return.

  • Christmas Cookie Sunday

On December 15, Donut Sunday will be replaced with COOKIE SUNDAY!!  Everyone is invited to bring a dozen of their favorite Christmas Cookie to share.  Cookies may be dropped off anytime the week prior or Sunday morning.

  • Caroling

As the angels sang that first Christmas, Christians have long celebrated and borne witness through song to the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Words in song stir the spirit of the person who sings as well as the one who receives the music. Come be a part of a very special way to offer Christmas joy as St. Luke’s carols to some of our members who are unable to join us on Sundays on December 15 starting after worship with brunch and finishing caroling around 3 pm.  Please sign up in the café if you are interested in participating.

  • Comfort at Christmas Worship

    Thursday, 7:00 pm, December 19

You are invited to join in the service of memory.

The evening will include Scriptural words of comfort, music and candle lighting.
