Christian Growth Ministry

Adult Education

Sunday School is an important part of the Christian faith for adults. It provides opportunities to learn about the Bible, God, His teachings, and how to live according to His principles. It also provides a place for adults to connect with others and build relationships.  We meet on a weekly basis so we can read the Word and learn the Bible first hand.

Fellowship for Christian Stewardship

FCS (Fellowship of Christian Stewardship) is an independent program.  Funded by a generous congregation member who had a passion for our youth to learn money management, compounding interest and a work and education ethic while staying out of debt.

Milestone Ministries

The milestone ministries ministry celebrates/recognizes milestones in the congregational life (i.e., births, baptisms, birthdays, confirmation, first communion, graduations, wedding, anniversaries, etc.).  This is a multifaceted ministry in which the office, card ministry, sewing group, and prayer group all work together.  The ministry exists to support those in our congregation throughout their lives and to support a deeper connection to God through the Church.

Senior High Youth

Once a month the Senior High youth meet for a breakfast and the Word, enjoying fellowship and God’s Word incorporating Fellowship of Christian Stewardship requirements into the discussions over breakfast. Breakfast is shared with the Confirmation class when they meet in their regular sessions.

This is important because investing in today’s youth is necessary in growing the body of Christ. Teaching young people in the church to grow in their relationship with the Lord prepares them to serve Christ in all they do. As a result, this nurtures the congregation and allows the church to flourish.

Small Group/Bible Study

The Adult Study class is an opportunity to deepen one's faith in God, grow in knowledge of Scriptures and the teachings of the Church throughout the centuries, and enjoy fellowship together. The classes typically meet for a set number of sessions several times a year. Previous topics have been "Lutheran Basics" and "Listening to God through Scripture".

Sunday School

Sunday School is held once a month with an open format.  All ages (5 years old to 6th grade) meet in Centennial Hall for a lesson, craft and snack.

This is important an important part of developing a connection to the Christ and the church through regularly gathering to celebrate Christ through Bible lesson with refreshments, crafts, play and fellowship.
